Alizz Islamic Bank

Alizz Islamic Bank SAOC, granted an Islamic banking license by the Central Bank of Oman on 5 September 2013 and commencing operations on 30 September 2013, is a full-fledged Sharia-compliant Islamic bank headquartered in Bousher, Muscat, offering retail and corporate financing via Murabaha, Wakala, Diminishing Musharaka and Ijara. It became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oman Arab Bank on 30 June 2020 and converted from a public (SAOG) to a closed (SAOC) joint stock company, while retaining its own CBO license, board and Sharia Supervisory Board.
